So I’ve been trying to teach myself how to play guitar for a while now. One of the hardest things for me is tuning, because I’m just not very good at doing it by ear yet.
What I want is a guitar tuning program for my computer. Now, I know they make a ton of them for Windows boxes, but I use OS X, and am sick of having to fire up virtual PC whenever I need to tune my guitar.
I have found this simple one, but it is pretty light on features, and to be honest, how hard can it be to write a program that listens for the right note? Guitar Tuner costs $9, but if I’m going to shell out cash for this, I’d rather it be for one that will help me tune to something other than standard, which I can almost do on my own anyway.
Any suggestions?
