OK, usually I won’t plug movies unless I’ve seen them. As a matter of fact, I usually find that loathsom. But when a movie comes out that combines a British romantic comedy and the living dead, there is little that can go wrong.
There’s a even a zombie-killing game on their Web site.
Granted, this movie has been out a while across the pond, but the same thing happened with another zombie movie, 28 Days Later. That pissed me off because is was almost a YEAR between the British release and it’s American debut. It only took Columbus a few months to get over here, and that was over 500 years ago!

Things like this make you laugh when humans think we can affect the earth. It just keeps on rolling, sometimes right over us if it feels like it.
My latest article in the Daily News, about a documentary of a local band that is opening tonight.

Google has deemed me qualified to give out a bunch of Gmail invites. Every time I give one out, I think they give me two more. If anyone is interested in checking Gmail out, just post a reply to this message with your currect email, and I’ll hook you up. Limited to the first six, of course. Like six people even read this…
So I’ve been trying to teach myself how to play guitar for a while now. One of the hardest things for me is tuning, because I’m just not very good at doing it by ear yet.
What I want is a guitar tuning program for my computer. Now, I know they make a ton of them for Windows boxes, but I use OS X, and am sick of having to fire up virtual PC whenever I need to tune my guitar.
I have found this simple one, but it is pretty light on features, and to be honest, how hard can it be to write a program that listens for the right note? Guitar Tuner costs $9, but if I’m going to shell out cash for this, I’d rather it be for one that will help me tune to something other than standard, which I can almost do on my own anyway.
Any suggestions?
