The Archie comics conspiracy

I’ve written about this topic before, but I thought the idea warranted some further exploration.

Below I have provided a fine example of a page from an Archie comic, this one about Betty.

Archie comics inexplicable unfunniness example

As you can plainly see, even the average three-year old would probably groan at these few frames. They are not funny. The page tells a joke, but it is most assuradely not funny.

Let’s examine closer, through the eyes of a government agent reading the underlying code, perhaps:

This is obviously an inter-agency report of some kind. The dog, “Ms. Therapy,” obviously represents a weapon of some type. Perhaps a nuclear bomb. Each character represents a country. The old man at the door is giving the young woman walking by the dog. Therefore, an older, more powerful nation has passed on the weapon to a younger, much more brash and less respected country. Perhaps the older nation wishes to avoid being involved with whatever the weapon is going to cause.

In any case, the dog with the hearts over its head obviously represents a solution, or counterweapon, devised by some government agency. However, the head of the organization tells the task force that has been working on the counteroffensive not to bother, because measures have already been taken.

As you can see, this message contains no specific instructions for action; Instead, it is simply letting a certain government entity know that the problem has been taken care of, and that there is no need to continue their current operation.

After ready several of these comic books, I’m beginning to believe each character represents a certain government agency, probably a U.S. agency. Fringe characters probably represent other nations or governmental entities.

In any case, the fact that these serruptitious communiqués permeate through the public without its knowing is wrong. The publication of these encoded (and totally not funny) comics should be stopped.
