Michelle and I watched Layer Cake (or “L4yer Cake”) yesterday. I don’t really feel up to writing a full review, but I will say it was an excellent British crime caper flick. Reminiscent of Snatch or Lock Stock, but less funny. Like a cross between Snatch and Heat. It’s not as good as either of those films, but it is good. Plus it has no huge stars, so the performances are really allowed to stand on their own right without any actor baggage. Plus, it shows off London without being tacky.
