<description>I don't have any recommendations, but I just wanted to say hi! On a related note, I got a new iPod this week (a 4GB red nano) and it's fantastic. Hope you and Michelle are doing well.

<description>I've got a recommendation. For when you're at home and don't care how ridiculous you look, the Philips SBC HP170 is a nice pair of closed-ear headphones. They block and out other sound well, they're comfortable and light weight, and they sound great. I admit that I'm not an audiophile, but I've done radio studio work, and I couldn't tell the difference between these and the Sony headsets in the studio.

The best part? I got them for about $20, and I'm sure you can find them cheaper now.

I also used them to keep my ears warm when listening to an iPod on the way to class in college. :)

Other than that, I have a pair of Sony wrap-arounds and the ear buds that came with my iPod to use when I'm out walking or such.
